It’s no secret that lemon juice has a lot of health beneficials to our body. But tough it’s been used for ages to cleanseand detox the body, in the western society it’s still not a habit which is regularly integrated in our daily diet and health regiment. Since I was doing some research about this topic I’m totally fascinated what this little yellow fruit can help us for our well-being and what other cultures already practise for centuries. In a lot of asian countries it’s a common habit todrink 2-3 glasses of warm lemon water first thing in the morning. So what are the benefits of it?

Lemon juice is detoxifying the blood in our bodys and enhances the liver function. Particularly hydrating our body by drinking a lot of still mineral water supports the cleansing process in first place.

Antioxidants support our system by protecting our cells. It helps maintaining skin radiance and helps to prevent wrinkles, freckles and blemishes.

Makes your mouth feel fresh. Due to the citric acid keep in mind to wait for at least 30 minutes before brushing your teeth to prevent enamel damage.
