The Wonders Of Nature

By jane

Did you know that it is scientifically proven that nature has a healing power on the human body and mind? – One benefit of traveling is being outdoors all the time. You feel a lot more energetic and vivid after spending your day in the mountains or at the beachside. The lungs are filled with fresh air, the mind calms down, you feel more carefree…

Nature’s healing power

In Japan exists a therapy called forest bathing where the doctor describes the patient to go to the woods for a certain amount of hours every week or day. It’s good to lower the heart rate and blood pressure, it calms down the nervous system and increases the immune system and this already after 30 minutes.

Nature’s intelligence

Another very astonishing fact is the intelligence of nature. Have you ever walked through forest and asked yourself if trees also communicate with each other? No?! Then today is the day… There’s always more than the eyes can see, right?

Scientists found out that forest are like a community. They share informations and care for each others wellbeing. So if there is a young tree standing at a place where there is not enough sunlight to nourish it, the older trees (mother trees) will share their nutrients and water through a fungal underground system. If there’s an enemy they send out signals to warn the neighbor trees. They even can distinguish if a bench gets broken from a human or an animal. If a human was breaking the bench the tree sets free a healing glue, if it was an animal a toxic liquid to scare away the enemy.

Incredible how intelligent and fascinating the nature is! Plants create the breath of the world. Even the calmest creations that we often take for granted are full of wonders! If you want to read to whole article about the communication of trees then have a look here.

Every time I walk in nature I feel more grounded and my mind calms down. I feel more freedom and more present in the moment. Life gets simple again.

I hope you enjoyed reading this article. And maybe next time when you walk through the forest you will think of all the living wonders out there… As many things cannot be seen with the eyes but felt and understood with the heart. 🌱
